NK clone of MQ-9 Reaper. Not too surprising since Iran likely got access to it. Iran and North Korea cooperate in weapons development.

This is a giant UUV, could be the North Korean Poseidon

Geez. It looks just like Poseidon. If the North Koreans got the micro nuclear reactor from Poseidon they could probably use it in their midget submarines.

If you wanted to overthrow your government, then you need to expect the worst. It doesn't matter it is China or the US as no government would tolerate an attempt of insurrection.

Feels like the actual government has way way better stuff than to troll bozos like this one. Imo it's probably a new technique invented by grassroots nationalists to troll the traitorous. It's not a secret that these people become widely hated outside their own echo chambers.

If American netizens figured out swatting, this just seems like a Chinese equivalent of that.

I have a conspiracy theory here, they always forecast higher for China expecting lower and they forecast lower for the US expecting higher. So investor feel more confident putting their money here and no elsewhere. "Look the grass is always greener over here".
either way is a weird situation for the FED.

I would believe it is a more basic propaganda strategy.

What is China's strength is its people, like what Chairman Mao believed, the masses. This translates today into economies of scale, fueling the economic juggernaut, that fuels everything else from military to technology to diplomacy.

The United States has to be just as big or bigger, and they would need allies to take on China, the United States cannot do it alone.

Therein lies the problem, because no one like losers. If the United States appears to be weak or losing, their allies will not be happy and could be thinking about themselves.

So the propaganda campaign is to keep the allies together on the same page in regards to China.

Does not matter if no one else in the world believes it, as long as US allies believe it, the west, then this outlandish propaganda is worth it.

The US economy expanded an annualized 2.4% qoq in the second quarter of 2023, higher than 2% in the previous period and way above market expectations of 1.8%, the advance estimate showed. Nonresidential fixed investment accelerated sharply (7.7% vs 0.6%), led by a rebound in equipment (10.8% vs -8.9%) and intellectual property products (3.9% vs 3.1%). Also, private inventories added 0.14 percentage points to the growth (vs -2.14 in Q1). On the other hand, consumer spending slowed sharply (1.6% vs 4.2%) but still, overshot market estimates as inflation eased but the labor market remained tight. While consumption of goods slowed sharply (0.7% vs 6%), spending on services remained strong (2.1% vs 3.2%). Also, public expenditure increased at a much softer pace (2.6% vs 5%) and net trade weighed down on the growth by subtracting 0.12 percentage points as exports were down 10.8% and imports dropped at a smaller 7.8%. Residential investment continued to decline (-4.2% vs -4%).

Sadly it seems that U.S. economy will have much stronger growth in 2023. than most financial institutions have forecasted at the beginning of the year ...
All those US in terminal collapse memes from tankies have to stop. The US has many problems, but is still the world's only superpower for a reason and will continue to be a formidable opponent for decades to come.

This is all South Korea's good for now, considering China has replaced the majority of their high tech industries. Gotta balance that trade deficit somehow.

"Exports gained ground as demand for snacks to cope with the scorching heat rose, coupled with the popularity of Korean cultural content," the agency said.

Shipments to the United States accounted for the largest volume of $19 million, followed by China with $7 million.

The exports to China more than doubled on-year.

$7 million for half a year of the China market. China will be in trouble.
