Not good. This means Hollywood will drop trying to appease China and will go full propaganda mode. Unless Chinese films are as global and influential as Hollywood films then this isn't not good news.

They’re going to try to seize the Iranian oilfields, since theyre losing their grip on the petrodollar. Such is the Anglo nature.
It looks like they forgot about the Millennium challenge
Back when they did the Millennium Challenge the guy who played as Iran won the wargame in the Persian Gulf by using lots of speedboats with anti-ship missiles. But modern Iran has the Khalij Fars anti-ship ballistic missile with 300 km range.

In 2020 they also came up with the Zolfaghar Basir which is basically the same thing with 700 km range.

Iran can blow up ships in the Persian Gulf using land based missiles any time they wanted to.

And the Iranians do have their own optical reconnaissance satellites and drones.

I don't think it matters anyway. Hollywood have been trying to charm China for more than a decade already. It didn't help at all with slowing any Sinophobia. China-haters scoff anyway at any China-friendly moves by Hollywood. While Hollywood also poorly represents Chinese culture on-screen. Now with woke agenda thrown into the mix, Hollywood is even distorting Chinese culture. I think it is better for everyone that Hollywood and China part ways.

Let Hollywood go into back to Cold-War mode. Most people won't care anyway. Hollywood is already bereft of original ideas and is heavily infected by wokeism. It had already ceased to become a more effective propaganda tool than Western News outlets, and social media. If Western audiences wanna watch another remake of Red Dawn but with a female black protagonist, and China as the bad guys, let them do so. It'll not make them hate China that much more than they already have.

As for China, an anti-China Hollywood will release the shackles of making anti-West films. They can make more movies that portray the West (and its Asian minions) as the bad guys. At least it reflects the current geopolitical reality. Many Chinese, or pro-China audiences will be quite enthusiastic to watch these movies. Today, they don't need any propaganda movie to tell them how evil the West are, they already know it from the internet. What they actually need is some good old fashion entertainment.

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi's government has been trying to promote closer political and economic ties with its neighbours, pushing back against China's growing regional influence.
"Once we are able to connect India's national grid to Burma (Myanmar), we should be able to strengthen the grid there and further transmit to Thailand and even Asia's east," the industry official said.
India plans to export electricity to SEA and East Asia. What about India's own electricity demand?

I completely disagree. Hollywood is a very powerful soft power tool and its reach extends to all 6 corners of this world, China doesn't have that level of soft power. Compared to the Cold War, Hollywood hasn't gone hard on China as it did to the Russians and that's because it doesn't want to piss off China, that's power. It's not about whether most people care, the truth is that you don't want a powerful tool to go against you, it shapes people's view and that will be a setback.

I've said this before: if China plays the same game the west is playing, it will lose. No doubt about that. making anti west films would be so counter productive. It's better for Hollywood to kowtow while China builds up its own film industry, heck the article mentions joint ventures, that should be the lane Chinese studios should enter in the short to medium term.
