no doubt you were a very rebellious teenager, no "OLD MAN" kicking the shit out of you when you screwed up! Well I had an "OLD MAN" that was as damn near perfect as a human could be, we could only hope to be "half the man" he was, no way I'll ever be who he was, but he gave you faith in the USAF, and the US GOVT.

Don't get me wrong, he couldn't stand McNamara, Westmoreland, and Johnson..... add the sorry assed John McCain to the list, but he was as straight as an arrow could be, would have been "Air Attache" to the Ambassador of Chile! put predicted the revolution and retired to the farm, got sick of all the SHIT!

but there are Good people in the the US military, honest, hard working straight shooters....this is NO cover up, this is real life in the flying business Bub, no shit, happens every day somewhere, why don't you do a little research and find out just how many "smoking black holes" there have been due to "loss of spatial orientation", the FAA, more particularly the NTSB have reams and reams of that "stuff"!

Spatial disorientation is an issue that is ever present especially with naval aviation. Brat understands this much better than any of us.

An article associated with this issue.

So, 15,000 feet in 15 seconds is 60,000 fpm rate of decent, right on into "Davey Jones's Locker!" 60,000 feet per minute, that's hellin rite along chillins!

Outstanding source Mr. Brumby, outstanding, Mr. Jura I pray you would do us the courtesy of educating your-self with this very informative little missive! no-one on SDF has any excuse for not understanding the dangers of night flying overwater, while this is a Naval Aviator education, it applies to all aviator's, particularly those flying over water at night...

As I stated earlier, maneuvering, HMS, and extremely high rate of decent are all causative factors, if he wasn't turning when he pushed over, he was likely pulling a negative G or two... possible "red-out".... he was pumped to have taken out "two" "bad boys", that figures in as well....

NO EXCUSES MR JURA!, if you level an accusation of a cover up, the very least you should do prior to making completely unfounded accusations is to familiarize yourself with the circumstances surrounding the incident....

Now, here we have the F-35A customer making an educated assessment and coming to the most logical conclusion possible... with each of the factors given, night, heavy maneuvering, very, very high rate of decent! what other possible conclusion could a logical man or woman reach???

So if the Japanese were disputing the claim of spatial disorientation, then you might level an accusation?? but the customer is stating that their operator and aircraft perished due to likely spatial disorientation

Feel free to overlook the cartoon illustrations and read the very outstanding and informative text, in the mean time I would suggest you withdraw your baseless accusation unless you are able to find some evidence of a cover-up....

As I've observed several times, your formative years as a member of the USSR has created a great deal of distrust, to the point of paranoia??

For starters Mr. Hosomi was in a left bank, so likely pulling a few G's as well, please do read the excellent informative as to causative factors to "spatial disorientation"!

They should add autopilot safety features to these planes. In case the pilot passes out or gets disoriented the plane can stabilize and fly itself back to base or something. Or allow remote control.
