More into on the alleged Sino-JASSM:

    • Development has been going on since 2015 (possibly earlier)
    • The missile uses composite materials (photographs are posted below, which first appeared in 2017)
PB19980515 also mentioned that the GB-6A (the Sino-JSOW-ER first seen at the 2016 Zhuhai Airshow) has a weight of 980 kg and a range of over 300 kilometers. The original GB-6 is an unpowered glider with a range of 100 km. PB also mentioned that an extended-range variant of the GB-6A, with a range of 600 km or more, is under development. The missile uses satellite-aided inertial guidance plus terminal infrared (??) imaging.

    Photos of the Sino-JASSM:

Note that the Sino-JASSM and GB-6A are two different systems. The former is still under development, as is the extended-range variant of the GB-6A.

But isn't it more properly call this thing "Red JASSM-ER" rather than JSOW-ER,with its described operational range taken into consideration??

I saw a video of a giant military warehouse in China where some 20 to 50 DF-31 missiles were stored in standing position. That was scary.

    Dear @Machism ,

first of all welcome but second, do us - and especially yourself - a favour and calm down. Please read the forum rules and read a lot before posting sensational, irrelevant, warmongering or whatever useless posts.

I just took a look on all your posts and in fact they were all - let me try to be polite - at least in a very "unique" style. You ask questions that none of the strangest Key-Forum member would ask, you post statements without a source that are either plain wrong or sensationalistic warmongering phrases, which are in fact not our standard here.

So again, welcome on board, but please calm down and learn.

It seems it is a fashion/trend to advertise "every successful enterprise being private". In fact Hongda group is a state enterprise owned by Guangdong provincial "State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission".
