Very nice pictures Siege, these show just how clean these birds are, very well bilt, gaps and margins and panels, all nice and clean and straight!

These fighters really do make MRAAMs look tiny. I remember the JF-17 and J-11B photos from exercises in the past that really showed how "oversized" the flanker is. Absolute beast of a fighter. Hope China and Russia continue using these and upgrading them for a long time to come. Maybe it's my age and growing up fascinated by the flanker's beauty (what got me into all this), but I really think a fighter can never be as good looking as this. It's achieved aesthetic perfection.

I'm kinda thinking the Su-57 is in first or second place, like I always say, "A Flanker is a Flanker, is a Flanker"! beautiful birds,, and the J-15 is my pick of the litter!

He seems back after Twitter suspended his account.

The article says a J-11B is spotted equipped with PL-15 and implies the plane is now equipped with a new long range AESA radar. An upgrade refit program might be undergoing with the PLAAF's J-11B fleet.

The article only talks about the J-11B from late last year with a new radome (and thus likely new radar), it doesn't say anything about the aircraft being seen with PL-15, because we haven't had any pictures of J-11Bs with the new radome/radar equipped with PL-15.

It is old news that there are J-11BGs (i.e.: J-11Bs with the new grey radome/suspected to have AESA radar) -- we had pictures of those back in late 2019.

What is new is the images of that recent video clip, showing a J-11BG with its distinctive grey radome behind the stage background inside the hangar on the right of the photo (hanger number 19 per the image).

Indeed, and therefore it would be interesting to know what base this is?!

The tent colors are different, but the style is the same. If the location of the j11bg is same as the brigade in this news piece then it is 1st brigade.
I was wrong, the brigade in the article won 2 sky eagle cup and is 89th brigade. they also have the unique empty tent slot unlike the other bases with connected tents. The j11bg is still probably 1st brigade though.
