Judging the by the hardpoint arrangement in the first photo and the HUD in the second, this is probably a Shenyang Flanker variant. The question is which.

we've seen that display before, with pictures and even video of it in operation before.

The video in particular mentions that it will (is?) on J-20, even though it obviously shows the loadout of a Flanker for the demo. Of course, local media has gotten some things wrong before, but in this case I'm willing to give them the benefit of doubt as this seems something oddly specific to get wrong for the content of the news report.

I've also seen this display mentioned in the context of J-16 as well.

A remark and a question,

Actualy Su-35S replace in the 6th Bde to Suixhi J-11 and Su-27SK/UBK ( in CAM J-11A ) Su-27SK/UBK , i precise despite Rgts are been redesignated Bdes don't means an increase in number on GE no new shelters and confirmed by Deino which also said here and in CAM PLAAF 2nd part 12/2017 so replacement there are.

Considering Su-27SK/UBK have a service life of 2000* hours ( Su-30 3000h ) confirmed also by a Russian specialist in AFM or CAM 2000 h even Su-27SM are uprraded also for 2000 hours.

The 1st batch delivered in 1992 retired for sure and now the 2nd delivered in 1992 so 48 Su-27SK/UBK in fact 50 coz 2 in more was recieved as a compensation retired ermains 28 Su-27UBK delivered in 2001/02

And for the question to know if the 28 Su-27UBK again in service plus the 60 first of 105 build Under license are able are armed with R-77 ?
NB : I see here* yes for Su-27UBK and some have say J-11 upgraded possible but for a fighter with a service life of only 20 years remains arguable.

NB : the last 45 have a fire control system which allow use this missile and a better radar Phazotron N001VE Mech track 10 targets can engage simult 2 which replace Phazotron N001 Mech track 10 targets can engage simult only one.

As often with China to have confirmation with few infos necessary use pics/Sat views and have we see one or better severals of these Su-27UBK/3rd Batch and/or J-11 armed with R-77 ?
