Not trying to get off topic but can someone list out all the su27 based variants (on a different thread)? It's getting to a point of being ridiculous the so many different variants from the su27 family!

I'm still trying to figure out the difference between the Mkk, Mki, su30sm, su27sm, or sm2,sm3 Smt etc. To add to the confusion I think aircrafts manufactured from different plants have different designations too .. Like from Irkut or knappo ....

I understand the last letter is the country... For. Ex Mki is Indian mk's and MKM is Malaysian mk's.
Well, lets try.
Sukhoi PFI program - prospective frontline fighter - started in 1969. Intention was to get new fighter for both Air force(heavy fighter) and Air Defence(loitering interceptor).

The story of PFI begun with this prototype - T-10.

Prototype had internal opponents in Sukhoi and failed to met some of the most important specifications.
Note what it's essentially a different plane.

Su-27 series(only actual serial):

Su-27 - one seat, AL-31F engines, Air force version.
Su-27P - dedicated interceptor version of above one. Lacks A2G, has specific automated interception related blocks.

Su-27SK(serial, commercial) - export version

Su-27SM - upgraded Su-27 for Russian Air Force, with additional types of missiles, much improved fire control&certain electronic systems, etc.

Su-27SM3 - new built Su-27SMs from unused parts, remaining since Chinese Su-27SK series.
Strengthened structure, AL-31F-M1 engines, additional hardpoints, etc.

Su-27M("Su-35") - small series of advanved flanker series for RuAF in 1990s, "previous Su-35". Visual feature - single seater land-based flanker with canards.
"Su-37" - Su-27M with thrust vectoring.

Su-33 - STOBAR fighter/interceptor for carrier use.

Su-27UB - two seats, AL-31F engines - conversion trainer, retaining A2A capability.

Su-35 - well known advanced flanker for RuAF, PLAAF and probably more.

Su-32FN/Su-34 - Tactical(frontal) bomber aicraft, replacement to Su-24 series.

Su-30 series - agrh, i did them on Sinodefence before, can't find post. xD

Impressive ! ... so is the same for the T-50.

However You should have added that - at least for the T-50 it is some sort of fan-art, since just last week I found again a post were someone posted this chart as proof that Iran already bought that bird.

"Defending Russia", which made original russian graphics for Su-30 familty, has certain reputation, as do people involved(Ermakov, for example).

Followers(T-50 pic you mentioned) are...meh, fanboys at their worst, as usual.

There are fresh rumors that the J-11D program has been halted, in light of resumed J-11B production and the PLAAF's satisfaction with the Su-35 (up to 96 may be ordered). Don't know how credible this is.

There is other explanation for the resume production of J11 B

  1. The new J - 11 B that appears in Shenyang last year was produced to compensate for the Navy 's loss machine, it seems not to be restarted.

the other reason is the urgency of J 16 and J15 production
  2. In addition to the J-11B variant of the production, such as the J-16 and J-15 also in the Naval Air Corps Due to the large demand there is priority to that production> J-11D is highly likely not to be produced
