Well, considering such people are almost always fools and/or tools of hostile foreign powers, I have zero sympathy for them.
These people server no one but themselves and their foreign masters. Even if they themselves are delusional enough to think they are trying to do good for ordinary people, they only end up making things far worse, not better for those people.
Its like those publicity loving lawyers who cherry pick cases they know the western media loves to cover.
If they truly cared about helping those people they are representing, they should be looking for ways to get things done within the system rather than antagonise any and everyone who might be able to help their clients with pointless and hopeless crusader rants against the Chinese government.
That is not trying to help those clients, that is at best exploiting the clients and at worst deliberately throwing them under the bus by provoking the government to crack down on them, all to create negative news stories to further their own selfish agenda.
No society is perfect, just look at how almost all pundits read off the same script when there is a hate crime or mass shooting or police shooting in America.
You see anyone coming out and saying the rioters are right and have a point, that the whole system is rotten and needs to be torn down? Of course not, because such incendiary and radical talk helps no one, does no good, and is very likely to lead to unrest and get people hurt and killed.
But apparently if you do that in China, you are a hero and champion of everything good under the sun?
There are plenty of selfless people doing actual good in China, but these guys are nothing like them.

Fourteen people -- including six Americans -- were killed when a Force C-130J transport aircraft crashed in eastern Afghanistan as it was approaching the airport in Jalalabad, officials said.
The Air Force said six U.S. service members and five civilian contractors were killed when the plane crashed at Jalalabad Airfield after midnight Friday local time. A defense official said there were at least an additional three Afghan locals who were killed on the ground as a result of the crash.

I guess I have to watch CNN and see how they'll explain how they've been reporting all day that the shooter was from the Midwest and travelled to Washington state and then to Oregon all within 48 hours to specifically target this community college.
