The whole Nazi thing in Asia... that's what happens when the West politicizes being a victim. The West likes to point out Mao was the greatest murderer in history yet the Jews are the greatest victims? Mao did nothing to the Jews. If Mao is the greatest murderer then wouldn't Chinese be the greatest victims? Westerners don't like the victim card being played yet they're the ones that created the victim culture not to recognize where the most help gets where it's needed but to control who's a victim and who's called a villain aka ignoring their own crimes against the rest of the world. It's hard to tell Asians to take the Holocaust seriously when the greatest villain according to those that get to decide who's a victim isn't against the Jews. Jews know if they push it, it's more likely to spur anti-Semitism not curb it.

I remember playing pool with some guys and one of them who was Jewish mentions in conversation that everyone hates the Jews. I was sort offended by that comment because people who hate the Jews do it for religious reasons and the Chinese don't follow the religions that hate Jews. So I said, "The Chinese don't hate the Jews..." There was a silent pause because I knew what the reaction would be of my arrogance. Then I said, "We just don't care!" It was the most righteous thing to say for such broad brush self-centered statement. There's a big difference from not caring and hating. Not caring is sometimes worse than hatred for people who expect something thinking themselves a victim to be recognized. Hence why some the West's victims hate Asians more than they hate their actual oppressor.

You know what people fear of China rising the most even when China has no history of invading or oppressing them. It's not oppression or being murdered. It's what they're doing to Asians right now... ignoring you like you don't exist. The West fears losing the ability to dictate to the world what's important and sometimes more importantly what's not important. Who's a victim... who's not a victim.

It's pretty damn hypocritical to expect to be treated like a victim from people who did nothing to you and certainly nothing you can't be accused of yourself. Look at all those who think of themselves as the greatest victims in the history of the world. They ain't China's victims. You know when you hear people say they can't be responsible for the actions of their ancestors? Oh yes you can by your own logic since Asians are expected to pay for their crimes. Look at all the criticism from the West bringing up the specter of their colonialism to scare developing countries from dealing with China. They don't like how China gets something in return as if it were a business transaction and not an obligation by how Africans have been victimized throughout history. Yeah so if they think China has to pay for their oppression of Africans throughout history, then they are responsible for the actions of their ancestors.

That's the slippery slope of playing victim to those who didn't victimize you. Is it less offensive to bring up the ghosts of the Japanese Empire today when advocating Japan arm itself nuclear weapons to handle China? Do you see anyone saying that's wrong to say?

Initial estimates for the launch put the ICBM’s apogee, or highest point, at 4,500 kilometers, or almost 2,800 miles, with a flight time of about 50 minutes. For comparison, the International Space Station sits about 250 miles above Earth.

Reuters 2 hours 51 minutes ago
ZAGREB (Reuters) - The wartime commander of Bosnian Croat forces, Slobodan Praljak, died after he drank poison seconds after a United Nations judges turned down his appeal against a 20-year sentence for war crimes against Bosnian Muslims, Croatian state television reported.

The television quoted sources close to Praljak as saying he died in a hospital in The Hague.

The events took place in the final minutes of the court's last verdict. The International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY), established by the United Nations in 1993, shuts its doors next month when its mandate expires.

are outraged after two Americans -- who have since been arrested -- posted photos of themselves baring their buttocks in front of Bangkok’s famous Wat Arun, or Temple of Dawn.

Travis and Joseph Dasilva, both 38, were taken into custody by immigration police at Don Mueang International Airport as they were trying to leave the country Tuesday evening, according to the

Pol Col Choengron Rimpadee, deputy spokesman of immigration police, said the couple admitted to exposing their back sides and posing for photos at the sacred site, the Bangkok Post reported.

A statement from the Thai government said the two tourists could face jail time for taking the photo.

“The charge would not be a normal public indecency charge. Instead, they would be charged with committing indecency in a place of worship, which carries a long jail term,” the government statement read. “This is a reminder that everyone should have respect for Thai religion and culture.”

San Diego City Commissioner Nicole Murray-Ramirez says the Dasilvas have reached out to him for assistance and he is speaking to American authorities, according to the

“Though I am very disappointed in their actions, I am talking to U.S. government officials to see what assistance we can give them,” Ramirez said.

The Dasilvas have a history of posting photos of their buttocks in front of famous sites around the world. The self-proclaimed “travel junkies” from California maintain an

account called Travelling_Butts where they post their exposed photos. The account has since been taken down.

Travis Dasilva posted on his Facebook, “Anybody have any connections with diplomats in Bangkok or know a lawyer in Bangkok?” The post no longer appears on Travis' account.

Reaction on social media has been swift with Ranier Maningding, writer of the popular blog Love Life of an Asian Guy, posting, “it is really culturally ignorant to think that you could moon people in whatever country you're in and not receive backlash.”

Signs outside the temple ask tourists to wear modest outfits that cover their shoulders and knees.

The Dasilvas remain in police custody.

which ends with
The time to stop North Korea from acquiring sophisticated nuclear weapons and missiles passed years ago and cannot be recouped. Instead, Trump would do well to adopt a North Korea strategy that acknowledges its ability to deter the United States, and aims to contain its reach and deter its dangerous actions. This will assure America’s regional allies, prevent proliferation, and, eventually, open a window for diplomacy to limit Pyongyang’s programs.

Sen. Lindsey Graham says North Korea is pushing the U.S. closer to military conflict and he believes it's time to start moving the families of American military personnel out of South Korea.

The South Carolina Republican said on CBS' "Face the Nation" he is also going to urge the Pentagon not to send any more dependents to South Korea.

Graham, a member of the Senate Armed Services Committee, says, "It's crazy to send spouses and children to South Korea, given the provocation of North Korea."

About 28,500 U.S. troops are stationed in South Korea to deter potential aggression from the North.
