It really is a gorgeously clean looking vessel. That mast looks immaculate, especially compared to the beehive on the Ford (which is considerably cleaned up from the Nimitz):

Add 2-3 extra tankers to your fleet per carrier, and then you solve the carrier endurance problem and thus no longer need nuclear carriers. I think nuclear is more trouble than worth, especially in the modern battlefield when carriers are vulnerable to getting sunk by missiles.

I think the cost of building, operating, and protecting 2-3 extra tankers will probably exceed the cost of employing nuclear power on a carrier.
