Why do comments about US economics have to be constructive in this thread? You don't serious think Yellen and her underlinings browse SDF for econ advise do you?

Is this thread non-informative to you cause it doesn't fit with your perception of reality? Regardless actual economics is about sentiments, not actual data, that's why the US has been shouting China is collapsing for over 30 years. It's great that SDF and other places like zerohedge is point out who is actually collapsing.
No one is collapsing

The fact of the matter is that the U.S. is a very wealthy and productive country with breadth and depth in every economic sector and individual U.S. households broadly live in mass affluence from their full-time office employment paying >$90K in the suburbs of Phoenix, Dallas, San Diego, etc and are content with their lives

China is really the only thing standing before the American people and hyperinflatio, so all those threats for more sanctions against China, and more tariffs are a smoke show. Does the U.S. President really want hyperinflation or even stagflation in an election year? Even the grey eminence, Blinken should realise he’ll be out of a job come November if that happens.

If this was true, why was there no inflation after the Trump China tariffs, the largest tariff shock in a century?

I feel like this thread is just too much mud slinging and shitting on the US. It just doesn't seem informative or constructive.
Dude...its normal, what do you expect? This is a Chinese defence forum so of course most people will be more biased against the U.S who they see as China's main rival/enemy today. If you go to Pakistani forum you can expect to see most members/comments against India no matter the topic, Azerbaijani forum has whole views/comments against Armenia, Ukrainian forums are full of anti Russian if you go to Iranian Forum most members and comments are against Israel/US and Saudis to so extent since they view them as their main enemy/threat, similarly in Indian forum it is the same as most comments are mud slinging Pakistan/China for obvious reasons etc etc. List is long. Why do you expect Chinese forum to be any different? Lol
Anyway don't take most of these things too seriously. You should understand why things are that way and take things more on a neutral/middle path. :)

That 1.8% inflation rate in 2018 must’ve been really severe. /s
Yeah, maybe all those americans and ppl in the West complaining about the cost of living crisis and skyrocketing grocery prices must be living in an alternate universe since everything ought to be as hunky dory as 2018 eh /s.

Maybe the fact that companies aren't hiring becuase companies dont have the budget to expand (higher interest rates) should give you an indication that things just aint stellar in america.
