ZTQ-15 and PRC Light Tanks

Thats what you implied, when you attacked me for saying that the turrets seemed different.

I think you misread my original post. I said specifically that this is, and I quote "an export variant of the light tank". How did you go from that to thinking I implied it shares the same turret with the domestic version?

Please stop reading stuff that's simply not there. Read my original comment carefully and in its entirety.

Oooo! I see commander and gunner sights are from 99a2. It appears to have a ballistic radar as well.

If you are talking about the bar shaped device on top of the gun, that's likely a battlefield management datalink or IFF antenna. All the new Chinese combat vehicles, ranging from MBT to ZBD04A to AFT-10 missile carriers have that bar shaped device in various locations. Which wouldn't make sense if it is a ballistic radar. Type 99A has another device stacked below the bar shaped one. That's more likely a ballistic radar.

The device below the possible IFF array on the 99A is more likely a dynamic muzzle reference system. The muzzle of the 99A's gun has a little box mounted on top which probably houses the mirror as part of the DMRS.
