Su-27 is the F-15 done right.
You are off my Christmas card list... And I am pretty sure AFB's to when he sees that post. There is nothing wrong with F15. It's a great bird with a victory record second to none.

Z20 has a longer cabin, Altered landing gear, Changed rotor head, Altered Tail, Blunter nose structure,
Different engines.
This is not like the Iranian Cobras This is a very different airframe.

Without a doubt F-15 is a great success. To me it was the best looking fighter airplane until I saw Su-27.

The even better part of the Su-27 design, IMO, is the airframe. How extensible it is, to be precise. Just count how many variants have been made from the original T-10 prototype. Some variants such as Su-33 and Su-34 have the drastic changes that I would call unprecedented.

Admittedly, USAF probably didn't have the needs for that many more F-15 variants. Therefore the F-15 airframe design might not have the opportunity to showcase its max potential.

Google F15 STOL/MTD.

Don't worry, Delft. He needs to wait for nearly a full year.
No Easter greetings for you. :p

The shape of the Z20 simply a reflection of the utility of the H60. Sikorsky designed a machine with high survivability maximum utility and versitility for a medium sized rotary wing asset. Even the airframes of the FVL programs in the US being designed to replace the Blackhawk and the Russian KA60 series use the same fuselage plan.

People here arguing semantics again! and getting butt hurt.
I would concur that the Z20 is not a direct copy perse but it's design philosophy was most definitely 'inspired & influenced' by the uh60 design

I think to totally discount that would be intellectually disingenuous.

I (and many others) have no problems that Z-20 was "inspired &influenced" by UH-60 ...... but @Blackstone consistently keep saying "Copyhawk" and surprising he gets away with it without any scratches .... is beyond me  ... his intention is nothing but to "provoke" unnecessary responses from others ... if you can't see/sense it ... welllllllll

IBM PC design (in 1980s) was also "inspired &influenced" by Apple II .... the same thing for all car's designed inspired by Ford and all rockets and missiles by V-1/V-2 and so on so on so on

Quite right. Ever since before WWI aircraft have been designed with inspiration from earlier aircraft.
