That pod is quite Shakey when firing. Can't be good for accuracy of most of the salvo, if rockets are unguided.

When you loose off a big salvo like that, you don't want all the rockets to land at the same spot, as that would be pointless overkill, but rather spread out to cover a large area.

If you want pinpoint hits, you use missiles. Rocket pods are for use against large numbers of light, distributed targets, and are an area effect weapon, so you would want some spread.
