International humanitarian activists set to sail for Yemen on Iranian ship

Iran and Saudi Arabia are already in a region-wide proxy war where the tide leans against Iran's allies and I don't think Iran is willing or capable of waging a direct war with the Saudis, so Iran's threat of escalation is not credible. However this is a good move to highlight Saudi Arabia's already compromised moral position, not that the Saudis ever cared to their own demerit.

Also I think US assistance to the Saudis is partially an attempt to guide the Saudis to avoid more collateral damage than there otherwise would be, but ultimately the Saudis are going to do what they want to do.

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – The Iranian ship carrying 2500 tons of humanitarian aid for war-stricken Yemeni people is unloading its cargo in Djibouti after necessary coordination between Tehran and the World Food Program (WFP) for sending the aid cargo to Yemen.

SD is not an outlet or place for all sorts of political/ideological ranting or positioning about Military/Defense events.

Specifically, we are not going to go down the road where the forum becomes a place where Anarcho/revolutionary syndicalism advocates, or other similar off shoot political/ideological persuasions are given space to spread their message.

We can all find such analysts and ideologs to support whatever cause de jour we want to advocate...but not on SD.

Journalism is one thing...and sadly most journalism of today is pretty badly slanted...but this goes well beyond even that.

Nope. There are plenty of other forums and places for members to indulge themselves in that type of thing. Not here. Such posts will be deleted.

DO NOT RESPPOND TO THIS MODERATION

Uniform is digital pattern Cant quite ID it. I think it's either Iranian Marine or older Yemeni Republican Guard. I don't Think it's Saudi.
And Of course sandals and flip flops ... If they were Roman Legionaries or Soldiers of Carthage or even the Armies of the Crusade I would let them get away with it but not on the modern battle field.
