Does anybody play World of Tanks? The game combines elements of strategy, first-person shooter, tank simulator, and role-playing game. The tanks are from World War I, to the late 1960s. There are currently six nations featured: Russia, USA, Germany, France, UK, and China. It is free-to-play, though there are in-game micro-transactions. I've got the Hetzer, Stug and Jagdpz IV from the German TD line, the AT-2 from the British TD line, the Type T-34 from the Chinese line and the piece of crap M3 Lee from the US medium tank line; I can't wait to get the M4 Sherman so I can sell the turd tank Lee. I play on the SEA server since it's the closest to Australia. I get horrendous ping (300) when I play on NA servers.

Also, I recommend Quickybaby's youtube channel, he regularly streams with Jingles but he's a better player, I still watch both though.

I used to play, tried working my up the Russian tech tree, got myself a BT-7M before giving up, the competitive nature of that game is just so unforgiving, i switched to Star Trek Online as far as MMOs go.

Haha, I play WoT when I feel noncompetitive. When I don't feel up to the twitch reflexes required for Battlefield 3 or the endurance needed for League of Legends, I just play WoT and chill. WoT is basically a first person shooter without the twitch reflexes.

I am curious though, what BT-7M are you referring to? There's a BT-2 and BT-7 but no BT-7M in the current Russian tech tree.

Been playing for 6 months now, the game can be fun at times but it has quite a bit of issues that need to be tackled to really put it on the great-games list.

Hi montyp165, the game can be very frustrating to play, especially for new players who are unfamiliar with aim-time, spotting distance (disappearing tanks), camouflage, and armor penetration values. Also, the matchmaker does not take skill (win-rate) into account, though it does factor in how often a player has won in his most recent games. Being placed in a higher-tier game with a lower tier tank, and stock modules, can also be not fun.
