Id only be interested if the Chinese women teams in it. Anyone know how the Chinese women teams doing internationally these days. They were quite good a few years ago, but it seems they have dropped away.

The Chinese women are already out of the next Women World Cup. Japan took the last place from them. The other Asian teams going there being Australia and North Korea, I think. I remember at one time the Chinese women football team were one of the best.

After the Olympics theres very little info on how the Chinese women sports teams are doing internationally.

Basketball?
Rowing? fallen away?
Hockey. I think its still up there with the worlds best
Volleyball ?

All I know is Uraguay should have been kicked from the tournament for that flagrant handball that robbed the only African team left from making a final four appearance. Shame on Uraguay.

If Ghana made it to the semi-finals again, they'd be playing Germany again lol.
Btw I started this thread, but I asked to be banned because of security issues. Lately someone on the internet kept uploading my email everywhere and I've been getting adding requests ever since. Now I've shut down not only that email account, but the forum account as the username is same as my email username, and the best course to concealing my identity is to destroy everything related to it. Almost sounded like im being watched by Big Brother lol.

I've been wondering why soccer is not big in the States. Many people do play it. The term "soccer mom" is so well-known, the sport has got to be played by many many people to gain this kind of fame (or infamy). But a few adults like it. I heard a theory when talking with my colleague who came from South Korea. He suggested that it's because of the fact that a soccer game has no time-outs and does not stop in the middle of a game (except half-time), thus no chance of commercials while being broadcasted on TV. So from a TV station's point of view, when showing a soccer game, they lose money since they won't be able to show commercials, which would typically take up about 20 minutes per hour of TV time, to the viewer. With no many soccer games on TV, people get little exposure to the sport and this effect then snow-balls and leads to little understanding of the game and the ignorance of the sport. This, to me, sounds like a good theory and explains why soccer is not big here even though many people, especially kids play it.

I also think so.
