Hey guys I saw this old US WW2 reel called "The Battle of China" part of the Why We Fight series.
When you watch the film you kind of wonder if the material they put into it was checkout or not. Considering when this film was made the US was leaning to support the KMT. But with some the material used to make this film was it to send a message to Chaing Kai Shek that the US might support Mao and the Communist. Or the guys who made film figured which way the wind was blowin and wanted to represent that. Even though they promote Chaing they also put in a clip of Mao. The film also use The March of the Volunteers in part of the opening and closing credits.
But see for yourselves and what do you think?
