What about The zero sugar coke?
Coca_cola_zero.jpg

It (Theoretically) is healthy but i must say it tastes a bit different!

There are articles around suggesting that alternative sweeteners are a greater health risk than sugars. however there's a new sweetener processed from the Chinese monk fruit. it's said to be sweeter than sugar and has no calories.

Do you drink coke? How many cans of coke do you drink per day? Let's see what a can of coke does inside you within an hour.

First, the sugar-related stuff can be avoided by drinking diet coke or coke zero.

Second, people drink a lot more coffee than coke, so the caffein is a non-issue.

Finally, there's nothing wrong with peeing more frequently.

Read B.I.B's post above, the alternative sweeteners are worse to your health than sugar.

I drink seltzer mixed with a little of fruit juice when I'm craving for carbonated drinks most of the time now a days. But I almost drink pepsi exclusively for a few years until I realized how bad it could be for the body. ( Still does once in a long while when eating some food, and Pepesi really taste a little better than coke to me.):)

a moment ago I saw on a Czech server the short footage from Virginia of a journalist and photographer shot dead during an interview today;

if you're sure you want to see it ... CNN story:
This was horrific. I am moving it to Breaking News because the major news services are all picking it up.

This lady reporter in her mid twenties, and her cameraman, also in his mid twenties, were doing a local live news broadcast for their local morning news.

shooting1.jpg

They were talking to a member of the Chamber of Commerce for that town.

Not really a big story, but of local interest there.

As they are talking and the cameraman pans to the reporter and the chamber of commerce member, you see movement behind them and then shots ring out. The reporter screams, and then shots keep coming and then the camera falls to the ground and you continue to hear screams.

That video ends, but they do have a picture of the shooter. The camera on the ground apparently has a picture of him walking up to the downed cameraman, pointing a gun at him and finishing him off.

shooting2.jpg

Pretty clear picture of the shooter.

No one knows ho he is at this point...but I think they will identify him from the picture. it will certainly convict him if he ever stands trial.

Was he involved in a lcve triangle with someone there?
Was he angry at the town. or chamber of commerce?

No one knows at this point.

BTW, the Chamber of Commerce member, a woman, who was being interviewed, survived. She is in critical condition at a hospital with a gunshot wound in the back.

We will learn more as time goes on.

Two Moroccan Women Infect 16 ISILTerrorists with AIDS

As militants of the self-proclaimed Islamic State (IS) continue to hold off an international air strike coalition and advances from local fighters in Syria and Iraq, the terror group is now facing a new threat that has already wiped off some of its members: sexually transmitted disease.

A state of panic has hit IS’s leadership in Syria’s Deir Ez-Zor, not from the efforts of the US-led airstrikes to wipe them out, but from two Moroccan women who have reportedly spread the AIDS virus among the terror group’s ranks. According to ARA News, 16 fighters have tested positive for the virus, after having sex with the two women.

The infected fighters have been held in a quarantine center, the news agency said, citing a Syrian doctor who spoke on condition of anonymity. From there, IS leaders plan to assign the infected fighters with suicide attacks. :p

Panicked IS leaders have also issued a new decision in response to the rampant spread of HIV among the terror group, which is known to have institutionalized a system of sex slavery. The new decision, issued through IS’s so-called Sharia Commission, requires its members to undergo an AIDS test in an effort to contain the virus.

Meanwhile, the two Moroccan women have reportedly escaped to Turkey "for fear of execution by IS," the news agency reported. The women’s fears are well-founded, as the terror group has been known to respond to the threat of AIDS with executions.

Earlier this year, an Indonesian IS fighter who infected a Yazidi sex slave with AIDS in the Hasakah province was executed. The same fighter also donated blood at an IS-run hospital before it was discovered that he had AIDS. The Saudi doctor who revealed the information about the AIDS spread from the Indonesian fighter was also executed by IS leaders.

I secretly have always wanted to open a classic soda shop and dinner serving hand made traditional sodas, pops, colas, ice cream floats and the like.
Could never get the money but I can dream.

On the topic around these parts I recently learned there is a brewery making of all things a alcoholic Root beer that might be worth trying.

I’m with you brother. My dream has always been to open a winery and bottle my own wine. I do make my own wine and Limóncello (personal consumption and other family members) and I hand them out liberally during holidays. Dreaming is good, it gives you hope for a better future and something to work for.

The Internet Now Sees A 'Stars Wars' Ship On Mars
"The black object looks like a crashed UFO."

An object that looks like a Star Destroyer from "Star Wars" wasn't found in a galaxy far far away.

It was sighted on the planet next door.
