Video of SLAMRAAM in action

It's a nice video of the SLAMRAAM. I just have one question: sinodefence.com reports that the TY-90 is very similar to the SLAMRAAM. How so? Sure, both SAMs are launched from Humvees, but the SLAMRAAM missiles look much bigger than the TY-90 missiles.

Please correct me if I am wrong about my assumptions.

well, less weight and size is always better. unlike slamraam, the ty-90 was built from scratch, rather than made off of a larger existing a2a missle. this is also useful for helicopters. the pla is outiftting the z-9s with ty-90s, so they can perofrm anti helicopter missions. the smaller missle allows more manuverability and payload, which is a disavantage of the fim-92 or aim-9.
