Here's the pictures from my completion of the 1/350 Scale USS Gettysburg, CG-64, a Ticonderoga Class AEGIS cruiser for the US Navy.

She is my principle anti-air defense escort for my ARG centered on the USS Iwo Jima, LHD-7, Amphibious Ready Group.

The full build can be seen at the following link:

It is the same kit as my USS Mobil Bay, CG-53, from Mini-Hobby (which was the forerunner to Trumpeter Models). This kit for the Gettysburg is from Italeri, but it is simply a re-boxed/re-marketed version of the same kit and it went together in the same fashion.

This was a good kit, and a fun build. I have one more Burke Flight IIA AEGIS DDG for my US Navy ARG. Then I will go back and add the final DDGs and FFGs to my Russian, British, Japanese, and French Carrier Strike Groups.

After that, I will start on my Brazilian group with the Sao Paulo, which I will make from
Hellers French Foch which later became the Sao Paulo.

I also can get at least one former British DDG that the Brazilians use...but I am afraid that that is all that is available in scale for the Brazilian group.

Hehehe...well, that was my second Tico Cruiser. I am now working on my 3rd Burke Flight IIA DDG.

But there are literally hundreds of parts on some of these...so, truthfully, I still have to look at the instructions.
