i feel so elated.. when I get home this evening I'm going to watch these videos on the big screen in 1080p full glory.

This is an awesome achievement. Now the question is what will be the final design of the USN UCLASS? And when shall we see the first operational squadrons?

Outstanding! I'm curious to see where the controllers will be stationed at once the squadron is formed and things are operational. Will the human operators be land based or on the 'mother ship' itself?

Nothing has been finalized. No final design has been accepted. Only two demonstrators have been built. Here's the latest news.

I saw an operator for the X-47B on the flight deck of the Bush. However the whole operation is integrated with a controller on the ship, the ships air traffic control center and NAS PAX River. How it works..I don't know.

Holy mackerel Popeye, all of the VIPs were there, right on deck, clear up the food chain!

Let's you know that all eyes were on this. It's going forward. You rarely see that type of big wig attendance at a technology demonstrator exercise.

I betcha soon.. within 1 year to 18 months the Navy will ask for the funding to get the UCLASS program going full force.
