The aircraft is designed wth folding wings. Why they have not folded them on the carrier there I cannot say.

What man? The aircraft director? The operator will be able to see all the signals. This is one reason for the testing aboard CVN-75. They are trying to explore & smooth out all direction and spotting(parking) problems that may occur.
The deck flight directors will direct the X-47B and I believe a second individual will be actually using the hand held controller to move the aircraft to the directed position.
Look at the cover pic for the video popeye posted. You see the guy behind the director with the controller? He is following the director's instructions.
Also, other individuals and aircraft on deck, as well as the air boss up in the island will all be aware of the movements too and the hand gestures will let them know what is going on.

It's a beautiful bird literally from all angles.
Yes it is, and it will be interesting to see hopw it works out ince they are deployed.
In the armed recon and surveil mode I believe they will be a very good fit.
Also in piracy interdiction, especially if you decide to attack one of those pirate "mother" ships.
Also be good in the uncontested air space air support role.
I am intrigued to see them used at some point (as is planned) with an F/A-18F Super Hornet controlling a couple of them in conjucntion with its own attack. A three aircraft flight where the Super Hornet has extra "tricks" up its sleave.
