POPE ARMY AIRFIELD, N.C. — A C-17 Globemaster III from the 437th Airlift Wing at Joint Base Charleston, S.C., launches with a load of 82nd Airborne Division paratroopers and cargo here Feb. 9, 2018, during a joint Large Package Week and Emergency Deployment Readiness Exercise Feb. 5-11. Airmen in the 43d Air Mobility Operations Group at Pope provided ground support for visiting Air Force aircrews airlifting Soldiers and equipment out of Pope Field during the exercise.
