An interesting article on the 3rd FW to Elmendorf in Alaska with beautiful pictures in the Arctic region, the 2 sqns have 22 and 24 F-22, 302th Reserve use those of others have only personnal.

Really it is a elegant fighter ! in addition to being the ultimate fighter.

Rear stealth very neat there he made the difference with the F-35, only YF-23 would have done better with more inclined drifts but without steering nozzles.

Who wouldn't? With a beautiful mountain background and two of AFB Honey Batchers taking off on alert makes it very picturesque scene.
True...and that is Elmendorf in a nutshell.

AFB...I know you are liking this. Check out the photo I posted on the F-15 Thread about the amazing load outs the Saudis are making with their new F-15SAs.

Last weekend, at College Station, Texas, a flight of four F-16 Vipers went vertical over the Texas Aggies stadium at the football game. We learned later that this pilot took the following selfie while doing so:

Good stuff. Wish I had a really high-res version.

Quad packs for the proposed F-15 2040C will allow up to 16 AIM120D AMRAAMS and or AIM-9X Sidewinders.

Once that upgrade is completed, those will be the most lethal F15s ever built.

And that path is an upgrade path for all of the F-15Cs the USAF has. IMHO...no brainer.

The US Air Force shows off its F-22 Raptors.

Here are fifteen F-22s from the US Air Force 95th Fighter Squadron, 325th Fighter Wing.

In this one picture you see more USAF F-22 5th generation stealth fighters flying together than the rest of the world combined has 5th generation stealth fighters.
