If World War two would have gone into 1946 we may have seen the Panther III

cool thread Mirage. hope to see more.
But that picture is a E-100 chassis I believe. Follow on to Maus. As if Maus needs a follow on :)
After Panther II, the generation German medium tank was likely E-50.

I'm glad the war ended when it did. Toward the end of WW II the 3rd reich had a bunch of 'exotic' weapons coming online like the e50, e75 and the tiger mass... The Luftwaffe would've gotten the me 262 in significant numbers as well. Luckily hitler's warmachine and momentum came to a stop before these weapons come online in significant numbers! They would eat allied forces for lunch.

I'll contribute this odd looking weapon.

It is called Wolf Brush Spear. Unlike some other odd looking weapons, this one apparently saw widespread use during the Ming dynasty around 400 years ago.

It was deployed in tactical formation with shield and sword men to cover other soldiers wielding early firearms. The idea is that the extra branches on the spear are suppose to trap the enemy's pole-arm and also form a denser spear wall with fewer spearmen.

It is also very effective against the katanas welded by Wokou raiders.

The Bell YFM-1 Airacuda was a fighter jet developed by the Bell Aircraft Corp. in the mid of 1930.Fue the first military aircraft produced by Bell.Originalmente called "Bell Model 1", first he flew on 1 September 1937. The Airacuda was characterized by a bold design and the significant flaws that could not be resolved and that eventually made it to this strange land plane.

The Airacuda was the response of the Bell Aircraft to design and build a "destroyer of bombers" artillado.A strongly despite being produced in a limited way, and that a fully operational squadron was formed finally only a prototype was built and 12 units Serial in three slightly different versions.

It was created with a unique concept and promoted as "a mobile antiaircraft platform" .Pensado to intercept enemy bombers at distances beyond the reach of conventional fighter interceptors, the YFM-1 (Y, experimental, F, combat, M, multiplaza) was an innovative design that incorporated many features never seen before in a military aircraft, as well as several that have never seen después.-

M4 37mm cannon artillery model with a front compartment of each of the two shelves of motores.Aunque could point the guns, moved the Gunners main goal was simply load them with the ammunition stored in each gondola.

The provision was five crew including the pilot, co-pilot / navigator and gunners; plus a fire control officer who used a Sperry system which was originally developed for anti-aircraft guns, combined with a gyro-stabilized optical sight to aim the weapons. In addition he was armed with a pair of machine guns located in bubbles in the middle of the fuselage for defense against an attack from the rear.

But Airacuda was heavy and was slower than many of the bombers of its time and it was not maneuverable enough for air combat.

BARC - (LARC 60)

BARC means and Barge Amphibious Resupply Cargo. Its dimensions were 6500 mm height and 21,000 mm long.

On land the driver has no vision from the cockpit at the rear of the vehicle so he must rely on hand signals in the bow staff. Previous versions of the BARC chassis numbers from 6 to 20 have the control booth at the front. The reason why the aft cabin was moved to a better control over water, especially when entering the surf, so you could see what the ship was doing.

The height of each wheel is 3,200 mm (height and direction of each could be modified independently). The BARC can move sideways to the right or left as a crab thanks to its 4 wheels rotate about 30 degrees. A wheel disturbance was inflation system of the wheel to the hub, a normal problem with amphibians but freckle on wheels on the BARC since they are larger, and hence the problem also.
