I posted the following reply to the video on youtube:

"Can't see it. I believe this is a PS or CG. Why go to the trouble of adding the underwater capabilities needed, when you are launching from a surface ship anyway. No earthly reason to add that extra cost, complexity, or chance for failure. A sub launches missiles from underwater because it has to to maintain its stealth and not be a sitting duck on the surface. A surface ship (frigate, destroyer, crusier) launches them directly into the air because they are already sitting on the surface."

It is a neat looking video, and the actual missile launches from below the surface may be authentic...even the firing of the intial weapon into the water may be authentic...but the two together make no sense...and I believe, if you look closely, it appears to me that what was launched into the water was quite a bit smaller than what eventually came out of the water.

I think it's fake.. a torpedo went into the water and transformed into a missile. No how..no way.

If you look frame by frame at the video you can see the propeller pack on the rear of the torpedo. Now.. how did that thing turn into a missile under water?
