Just a little light relief
I saw this story on RT about the US military convoy and about protesters being threatened with up to 3 years in prison if they throw eggs or tomatoes at them.
I was hoping to get some local perspective from a "knowledgeable" member

funny post, SampanViking :)
operationally useless (I mean they could've taken it through Poland, or Austria :) ... no wonder the Kremlin Propaganda tries to exploit it ... I'll just generally say this is the type of situations in which people who I thought were cool could surprise me, by suddenly exclaiming "F. U. USA" / "F. Russians" (and since it happens in the pub or in front of a pre-WW2 bunker, with those people either holding beer mugs or carrying side-arms, I remain silent LOL)

EDIT
oh and make sure to edit what I put in quotes if it's too tough, thanks

Dutch Investigators to Return to MH17 Crash Site
Team hopes to reach areas previously out of reach because of fighting

LONDON—The Netherlands has dispatched a 12-person team of military, police and safety experts to the site where Malaysia Airlines Flight 17 went down in eastern Ukraine last year to prepare the further repatriation of remains and other items.

The team arrived in Ukraine today and is next expected to make its way to the crash zone, including an area that was inaccessible last year because of fighting between pro-Russian rebels and Ukrainian government forces, a spokesman for the Dutch government said. The group will make preparations for a return visit in April to gather clues into why the aircraft went down as well as retrieve also belongings of victims.

The Boeing 777 was brought down on July 17 while flying at 33,000 feet from Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur, killing 298 passengers and crew aboard, including 193 Dutch citizens. Ukraine and the U.S. accuse rebels of shooting down the plane with an advanced antiaircraft missile, a charge Moscow denies.

The Dutch Safety Board, which leads the crash probe, is expected to issue a final report in October. An interim report last year said the plane jetliner was brought down after being struck by “high-energy objects.” Dutch prosecutors also are gathering evidence to support criminal charges.

The Dutch team will that is due to remain in Ukraine until March 28 is posed to visit the area of Petropavlivka that couldn’t be reached last year because of heavy fighting. The group will retrieve items from the crash that have since been collected locally to support the criminal and safety probes.

The duration of the return mission in April and the size of the team will be completed once the group now in Ukraine has completed its assessment, the Dutch government spokesman said.

Local weather and security conditions could impact the team’s progress, the Dutch government said. It is working with Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe officials that have had a special monitoring mission in place for a year.

I understand that the official report on an aircraft crash is to be published within a year of the crash. If it takes until October this would be well outside the time set. This will be due to the dilatoriness of the Dutch authorities and their excessive respect for the interest of the Kiev regime.

I'm seeing allegations that the oligarch Kolomoiskii is responsible for the destruction of MH17. Does anyone know more?

Battalion Vostok - infantry training:

Back to bottling my Grenache
looks like they are practicing section level fire-and-maneuver drills. overall they seem to know the gist of what they are doing, but much fine-tuning will be needed in the details before they are ready for combat.

dismounting seemed like a big gaggle f@#k but i will let them off on that one because it's a small vehicle and frankly i have never done any mechanized drill myself. however, in the section attack that ensued, i hear no verbal communication between members indicating when one should get up to take a bound, knowing that his partner is already in position to lay down cover fire.

also, the guy at 3:57 doing his acrobatic sh!t, he flagged like everyone to his right. I hope they took him and his family to the gulag after this.

one thing they do seem to have done relatively well is maintaining formation, they didn't bunch up after a couple of bounds, which is a very typical error amateurs would make.

Kolomoisky has been removed as governor of Dnipropetrovsk. No doubt part of complex manoevring. See

.

Well, I always have said that there is a strong Feudal structure to power plays at work here, in ways most of the rest of Europe has not seen in centuries, if not the middle ages.

So the Duke of Dnipropetrovsk is out with the King of Kiev and men of the Duke's livery besport themselves on the street of the Kings Capitol! While the King has ordered the Duke men to lay down their arms and submit to royal authority, while dispossessing the Duke of both Title and Property.

The King of course has failed to quell rebellion in three of his provinces. This will often set the other noble houses to consider where best lies their destiny...........

this will be an eye-opener? I am sure it will bring some clarity to the circumstances surrounding this tragedy

the latest aircraft loss is going to be quite the mystery??? very unusual that the Malaysian birds, Air Asia, and now this German bird have all suffered in the cruise portions of their flight, no conspiracy theory or anything, just tragic coincidence? Usually thought to be the safest part of their flight??? lots of mystery in the aviation community at large???
