With the G update, it seems possible that the gunners sight the Type 96 has
been fitted with a thermal viewer.
But, I was curious as to whether there has been speculation about the vision equipment used by the commander? I mean, what looks like a sight is attached to the cupola, though I'm not sure if it can rotate or not. Also appears smaller than those on on the Type 99 & MBT 2000, so it may just be a periscope. Could be wrong?
