This is the Type 55 DDG thread for the PLAN, not a place for people to get educated on CIWS and then conduct absolutely useless banter about it.

Looks like working on radar installation at last
Still, it seems like the aft section is only big enough for 32 VLS, as I mentioned in previous posts. So maybe that will make the 055 similar to Arleigh Burke Flight III (given that the 055 will most like have extra X-ban AESA radars in addition to the S-ban). However, just can't understand why the PLAN couldn't just add 32 more VLS in the aft, so that the 055 could have the same munition load as the Sejong the Great and Ticonderoga.
STOP with the back and forth arguments.
When a poster indicates "it looks like to me," that should not be taken as some kind of proof or absolute statement.
When someone calls a poster on their "thoughts," and challenges them...that is also fine as long as it is done civilly.
In this case, the back and forth is escalating to where myself a Mod, is having to intervene. I will only do that so many times before suspending, and ultimately banning the offenders.

Do not insult one another...also, have a little thicker skin so something like this does not escalate into an argument of this nature.

Actually I have become much more cautious ever since what you said about my J20 posts.
You see how the aft VLS section of the 052D has a length of roughly two FL-3000 launchers? Same length could be said of the aft VLS section of the 055 Model in Wuhan. The aft section of 052D has 32VLS. This is why I am making a guess that if there are 64VLS in the front section of 055, the 055 should have around 96VLS like the Arleigh Burke and Atago. Again I could be wrong.
I know you have a lot say regarding the statement above. I am ready to listen, but for the things you disagree with, please don't be too aggressive

That assumes that the Wuhan mock up is a prefect representation of the real Type 055.
We know it isn't, because it's missing two of its Type 346X radars, and then stuff under the grey/white paint color line has been heavily modified, probably to accommodate testing equipment.
