More from Shanghai... The last image is old, but I'm posting it with a link to the previously unavailable full-resolution version.

055满排1W2是我早就爆的(当然最早是13000万),之后在回贴中早就修正过空载9千左右,满排大约在11500-12000之间,也就是说这个数值满排。

I've said earlier the 055 has full displacement of 12,000t. Of course, initially it was 13,000t. Even later, I refined the specs to empty displacement of 9000t and full between 11,500 and 12,000t.

@Iron Man bet right.

Over the course of its history, the 055 got downsized from 20,000t to 11,500t. Almost halved.

The Type 055 is a great ship. They are building them rapidly too. Within a couple of more years they will eight of them...and then 12 and then 16.

I am glad I found the one model in 1/350 scale:

Like I said, a really great ship. They will be glad to have 16 or more of these.

So many little details can be seen in the full-resolution version:
1) The raft launching system.
2) The top of the funnels poke out just a little.
3) The door to the torpedo launchers.
4) The side array covers, with the front cover protruding a bit more than the rear one.
5) Erectable 'railings' just above the raft launcher.
6) Additional sensors on the integrated mast.

This has not yet been confirmed. I think we still need to consider the possibility that these are nothing more significant than air intakes for the fore and aft generators; they are certainly at the right locations. Even up till now there is no good evidence of air intakes for the generators anywhere else on the ship.
