Popular Mechanics puts out an article about the two Type 055 launch. The launch has gathered some Western media attention. Nothing new and specific, except that this article, unlike others, highlights the missile mass or volume of the ships to give it a different perspective.

The article got the 055's VLS cell width wrong; the cited figure of 2.1 feet is too small.

Below the red arrow in the picture is the location of the current 055 hull photo. We can see that there are many warships built around the perimeter, and there may be another 055 in the boathouse.
