Dear @Anlsvrthng , I hope you don't get me or my question wrong and especially since I appreciate Your efforts within this topic, I have a problem: Maybe I missed Your reply to my question a few days ago or your general thinking behind your analysis, what what is Your belief? Therefore I would be glad if You would answer the following two questions:

1. Why should the build a box-like module, place it at the yard and fabricate another boxy module, that fits within the larger one?

2. Do You try to prove that this is NOT a carrier? ... and what else should it then be?

Sorry, if You already answered these two, but I would be glad for a clear answer.

Best,
Deino

This is the Ford after 18 month of knee laying:

I think the best that we can say is the modules that we see can be the components of the carrier.

I think that we see now is a test of the components/ manufacturing process.
It is not really construction process, that could start at a later time.

Or ask the question, if the Newport News pic showing the construction of a carrier, then what they making on that small island in China?

Pardon to add again ... but could you please just answer to my two questions above?

Why did you say that the 004 progress was in order and will appear in the near future? The request written in the construction tender announcement for the newly opened process (Figure 2) will be delivered before 2020.4.10. That is, the red frame in FIG. The reason for this is the total assembly stand that I am using now.

18 month passed since the knee laying of the ship in Jiangnan .

At this construction stage the Newport News already built into the Ford 2000-3000 million worth of equipment.

Now, at this construction stage we can see 20-30 million worth of steel structure in Jiangnan.
There is no sign of boilers, turbines, piping, pumps and so on, anything that cost money.

The PLN can scrap the whole steel structure, and start it from the scratch without spending any real money.

Honestly and again back my original question I already - kindly - asked you three times: What is your intention, what are your expectations and PLEASE answer my questions.

I must admit, I find it slowly annoying since it is exactly the same issue @Bltizo already issued here:

@Anlsvrthng what's the likelier possibility? 1) No one working on this ship has a clue what they're doing and you, of all people you, have discovered this or 2) you don't know what you're talking about.

@Deino This nonsense doesn't belong in 003's main thread. Either ban him or dump his garbage in some other thread.

Even by an amateur, several reasons can be offered for a speculated, slower progress. Honestly, I don't know what could be achieved by a comparison of construction processes between Type 003 and Ford-class. The latter is based on an ever evolving architecture for the past half a century while Newport News Shipyard is in this business for little shy than a century now. Meanwhile, Type 003 is much more than an evolution of Project 11435 and Jiangnan Shipyard is rather new to the whole business. Implementation and application of new method and processes can yield an overall slowdown for a short period of time, currently, we lack the evidence to believe that there is indeed a slowdown at all. AFAIK, we are unfamiliar with the official project timeline, therefore IMO, we are not equipped to make such assumptions at this time.
