Regarding the assertion of 003 as displacing 78,000 tons and the question of whether this is a standard or full-load displacement, I lean towards the latter as it seems to fit better with reports of 003 having only three catapults and two elevators.

Given that it is as wide as a Nimitz class carrier, it would be unlikely that it is about as heavy as the 001 or even the Kitty Hawk, which are not as wide. 78 000 must be either standard or light displacement.

I wonder when/what will happen next. They cant add the upper hull modules in that place. The hangars and all that stuff there dont allow for it. So they will have to move this piece of the hull (and its a big piece ) somewhere else. Where to?

Does anyone have an ideia about what are they adding under the water? I thought they were dredging the basin to transport the modules elsewhere.

interesting. This module is placed transverse to the hangar. I cant see this anywhere else in the photos. The hull is always seen continuous to the hangars

If it has 41 meters beam at waterline, it will be a very big carrier. But its displacement will depend much on its length, something that we dont have any ideia at this point.

Yes, this was clear in your posts. Maybe I should have said rumors that "have been active" for a long time, rather than "have existed" for a long time.

I would like to see DL add to the construction in 2020

    another 003 should start there

    thats 2 x STOBAR and 2 x CATOBAR

then JNCX starts 1st CVN after 003 and DL follows with second CVN

    thats
    ski jump 001 = 24 aircraft
    ski jump 002= 24 aircraft
    flat deck 003 = 36 aircraft
    flat deck 004= 36 aircraft
    nuclear powered 005= 48 aircraft
    nuclear powered 006= 48 aircraft

total aircraft = 216 naval fixed wing fighters

    to that 3 x Type 075 LPD + 3 x Type 075A LHD = 6 LHD

    8 x LPD
    6 x LHD
    6 x Carriers

Yodello, Air Force Brat and Equation like this.

The latest on the carrier mockup in Wuhan... The skip jump has been replaced with a flat ramp.

The ski jump has been completely deleted since some time (the bottom image was at least already posted in April), but now there is a second J-15 mockup (maybe J-15D?)
