Latest satellite photo, likely from within last two weeks. Deck markings have been painted.

Which website is this from?

I believe it's from terraserver.com. It's like Google Maps' satellite view, except more up-to-date, more frequently updated, and has a paid membership tier that gives you better resolution without watermarks.

I should also add that up-to-date satellite images are only available via the paid membership. Free membership only gives you images that are months and sometimes years out-of-date.

Should we set up a forum satellite imagery jar so that we can donate to get new photos?

Higher resolution versions may become available later, but the watermarks will likely stay.
So, here's CV16 from some years ago at Dalian with the crew berthing ship in front:

...and here's a closer view of just the carrier.

...and now for comparison, here's CV-17 without the water marks at about the same place and orientation from just a few days ago, with the flight deck's initial paint job:

Pretty nice comparison...and two very nice carriers!
