Demonstration of Turkish MBT Altay . . .
The Altay is a modern main battle tank, based on the South Korean K2 Black Panther tank, developed by Otokar, a subsidiary of Koç Holding, for the Turkish Army and export markets. It is named in honour of Army General Fahrettin Altay who commanded the 5th Cavalry Corps in the final stage of the Turkish War of Independence.

Revolution brought by the modern National Defence Infrastructure in Turkiye . . .
Over the last 21 years since its establishment, and as a result of dedicated efforts, the Undersecretariat for Defence Industries has made real achievements in the creation of a modern national defence infrastructure in Turkey, with highly successful results in certain vital areas. Key defence industrial institutions have been established to meet the requirements of the Turkish Armed Forces through local sources, each of which fill an important gap in their scope of activity.
Additionally, some important capabilities have been obtained in the framework of the projects and industrialization activities. Briefly these are as follows:
Technology infrastructure
Export infrastructure
Strengthening side sectors
Restructuring industry and
Expertise
Turkish defense industries are now able to manufacture authentic products and have a wide research and development programme in which main supporter is TÜBİTAK .
As a result of SSM projects now Turkey have existence of a defense industry. There are very sufficient sub-system producers, firms in Teknokent, small and medium-sized enterprises, research institutions and universities.
The latest U.N. figures show Turkey, China and the Czech Republic joining the list of the world's top exporters of small arms, which is led by the United States.

False. The Turks did receive some assistance in design but the K2 Black panther and Altay are night and day. This myth gets repeated. The Koreans did transfer tech for subsystems and the basis of the Main gun but Altay is manually loaded like an Abrams or a Leopard 2, as such Altay has a crew of 4 TC, Gunner, Driver and loader. Altay has 7 road wheels, Altay had a MTU 883 diesel engine how ever political issues forced the Turks to try for there own 1800 hp engine and when that failed a Ukrainian 6TD-3 turbocharged diesel engine, Turkish Volkan fire control system
K2 has a Autoloader as such a crew of 3 TC, Gunner and Driver. K2 has 6 Road Wheels. has a MTU883 Ka500 power pack, South Korean FCS system.
