SANTA ROSA ISLAND, CALIF. (Mar. 15, 2019) Seabees from Underwater Construction Team 2 (UCT-2) and Sailors from Coastal Riverine Squadrons (CRS) 3 and 11 deploy divers at Santa Rosa Island, California in 34-foot patrol boats to perform hydrographic survey and pier damage assessment training in support of Exercise Pacific Blitz 2019 (PacBlitz19). This training is the first time UCT-2 has worked with CRS and tests their ability to map areas for small craft landing enabling continued support to Navy and Marine Corps operations. Pacific Partnership participants and Tacloban City medical professionals worked together to provide medical and veterinary services throughout the day at Tigbao Diit Elementary School. Pacific Partnership, now in its 14th iteration, is the largest annual multinational humanitarian assistance and disaster relief preparedness mission conducted in the Indo-Pacific. I agree with you Equation. However the USN sometimes does use MER's..we use to get C-rations..yuck!!!. actually I only had them once..When I served the longest I remember being at General Quarters was about 3 hours. That was the time we were given C-rations. But bag lunches are better. Much better. That's how the USN rolls now-a-days...
