with several combattants whose 2 Sejong the Great/KD-III now all 3 Sejong the Great and 4 KD-II get based to the new base to Jeju Islands 33°13'23.27"N 126°29'6.13"E and Pusan is a port with very few ships,Jinhae is the 2nd main port with all SSKs now 15 ! a Navy in big ramp up !

In April 1974 I was aboard USS Midway (CVA 41) and we visited Busan then known as Pusan. We were the first Carrier to make a port visit. We had to anchor way out because of a lack of port facilities for a ship our size. We use US Army landing craft for liberty boats. Busan and South Korea in general was not as well developed as it is today. Not even close. The ROK has advanced by leaps and bounds in the last 43 years. Truly amazing.

On photo shown has the carrier present inport labeled as "Bush". Well that's quite impossible. USS George H W Bush(CVN 77) is an Atlantic fleet CVN and has never been in the Pacific. Never.
