Great video Jeff. I like seeing the civilians mariners working with the USN.:D. of course the vast majority of Military Sealift Command civilian sailors ARE former USN sailors.

Excellent video of at sea qualifications of USNS Lewis Puller ESB-3. This is the air operation centric version of the Expeditionary Transfer dock vessels the US Navy is building.

Unusual ships and versatile can carry Troops max 300, mother ship for MS and carry MH-53E for minesweeping i have up to 4 but he get a hangar o_O

One advantage enough cheaper and replace advantageously one AA/LPD ship usable out for true amphibious operations.

Based to Bahrein for end of year normaly replace dady :) Ponce last Austin in service.

PEARL HARBOR (May 18, 2016) Engineman 2nd Class Jessica Walker, assigned to Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam (JBPHH), supervises as the hospital ship USNS Mercy (T-AH 19) prepares to moor at JBPHH. Mercy is deployed in support of Pacific Partnership 2016. Pacific Partnership, in its 11th year, is the largest annual multilateral humanitarian assistance and disaster relief preparedness mission conducted in the region, and was born out of the military-led response to the tsunami that struck parts of Southeast Asia in December 2004.
