This is an amazing video.

Whatever you may think of such a mission...where else could we get such views of the ongoing work there, and the US assets monitoring it?

I am surprised that they were allowed aboard and to post videos of this detail. Analysts will have a field day with this info. Typical of this administration's misadventures IMHO.

Just the same, I would urge everyone to watch this:

Seeing this reclamation effort from these surveillance videos is awesome. Seeing the inside of the Poseidon like this is awesome (if crazy), hearing the Chinese controllers warning the aircraft...seeing the structures going up on Fiery Cross and Mischief Reef.

Simply amazing.

Jeff..this is astounding.....Just my opinion>>>>>>Looks like a military installation to me. IF the US had never been kicked out of the Philippines in 1991/92 this would have never happened.

Here's the same video from youtube;

Jeff..this is astounding.....

Here's the same video from youtube;

Seems like this video is gone on youtube. I am sure CNN will protest if someone copies it to youtube.

No doubt that these reclamation projects are going to produce pretty capable military bases in the SCS. I believe that is the whole point.

For me, the issue right here is that we are allowing CNN aboard an active, very highly sensitive U.S. surveillance aircraft...and then posting the video of the operation, the consoles, the name of the commander, the displays of the things they are seeing, the communications received, and numerous other classified material for all the world to see.

As I said...the analysts from other nations will have a field day with it.

Truly an astounding video it is true...but also recklessly foolish to reveal so much.

Still there Jeff. A higher authority may have taken over . Google is in cahoots with the Federal Government.:rolleyes:

Agreed.

I don't know how much is comprised Jeff. The complete inner workings of the consoles have not been exposed. I doubt if the full "warload" capabilities of the P-8 was exposed to CNN. It may not appear so but there are safeguards built in if the P-8 is configured similar to a P-3 equipment-wise. I'm sure it is.

As I said...the analysts from other nations will have a field day with it.

Truly an astounding video it is true...but also recklessly foolish to reveal so much.

I think the purpose to the video is to expose what China is doing in the SCS. Someone in very high authority had to approve this whole scenario where CNN was allowed such access.
