Aaron Venturini performs pre-flight checks on an SH-60 Sea Hawk helicopter assigned to the Vipers of Helicopter Maritime Strike Squadron 48, Detachment Three, embarked aboard Standing NATO Maritime Group 2 (SNMG2) flagship USS Vicksburg (CG 69). Vicksburg is operating in the Atlantic participating in Joint Warrior, Europe's largest multinational multi-warfare exercise. Three of NATO's Standing Naval Forces, Standing NATO Maritime Group 2, and Standing NATO Maritime Mine Counter Measures Groups 1 and 2 are participating in Joint Warrior with 55 warships and submarines, and 70 air assets from Allied countries.
