Either way a Yuyi underway is at least better for the sore eyes than 11 Yuyis stuck in perpetuity in the harbour eh ?

I am yet to see a video of a loaded LCAC carrying any load entering and leaving the well deck

Maybe it is a failure, maybe it is not. But regardless China will still need a LCAC for their ships, the Yuyi if worse comes to worse would provide a basis for an improved version, from which the PLAN can draw experience from. In a way their existence is not totally pointless if it comes down to that.
I too hope to see new pictures of the Yuyi with a full load in the future if possible.

Asif, you are losing it. I would be worried about the ongoing status of the LCAC if there is persistent, strong and sound rumors on the Chinese grapevine expressing similar concerns. But so far, we only read about rumors about 052, 055, J-20, J31, etc. But nothing about the 726. Give it a break.

If this upsets Chinese fanboys that is not my problem

Chinese VLS has never been in question since we have seen countless photos and videos of them using all assortments of weapons including anti-submarine missiles, maybe even more than their Western counterparts

Which is why it was a very stupid comparison
