The "death of two Chinese hostages" may be more complicated or different from what many media including CNN says.

This Huanqiu article says according to its own reporter in Pakistan:
  1. The two Chinese are not "Mandarin teachers".
  2. They were brought in and hired by a South Korean language school, what language does the school teach? Korean, Urdu, English? Seriously?
  3. The school is called "ARK", it has very strong religious flavor. Remember the crazy South Korean Christian Missionary activities? 2007 SK hostage crisis?
  4. The two Chinese are not sent by Chinese government, therefor not protected by Pakistani security guards.
Two lives being taken is bad. But I must say, if the Huanqiu article is right about it and likely so, the two victims paid their lives for a listen for:
  1. Provocatively acting as religious missionaries that are against both Chinese state's will and Chinese (culture) practice.
  2. Following the lead of the very same people (some SK agents) who are in the mean time doing exactly same sabotaging activities in Sino-NK boarder region and even within inland China.
  3. Being naïve and stupid.

I wouldn't be surprise if those ISIS terrorist were paid for and supported by Indian RAW agents trying to derail the CPEC project.
I would not easily blame India for that. According to the Huanqiu article in my post 303, if there is some deliberate derailing acts, it is the SK and CNN and their sorts in this case.

  • China has not received official confirmation of the two hostages' death.
  • China condemn any violence against civilians.
  • China appreciate Pakistan's effort in rescuing the hostages.
  • China will work with Pakistan to investigate the alleged illegal religious missionary activities involving the hostages.

The important messages are the bold texts. Others are common sense.

I think the investigation is not and should not limit in Pakistan, but extend in China. How do the SK agents bring Chinese citizens into their "adventure"? Through what route, channels? How many of such agents are in China? Tightening visa issuing procedures on SK tourists etc. Such investigation should not limit to SK although it is the focal point or trigger.

It hasn't been clear whether the Korean national is North or South Korean, though South Korean is more likely if they were Christian missionaries.

Good thing about China is that it makes no distinction between Christian or Muslim or any other religious fanatics.

Visa review after kidnap of Chinese

Source: Xinhua | 00:01 UTC+8 June 13, 2017 | Print Edition

FOLLOWING the kidnap, and possible killing, of two Chinese citizens in the southwestern city of Quetta last month, Pakistan Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar has directed the ministry to review, regulate and streamline the process of issuing visas to Chinese nationals.

Expressing his deep concern over the incident, Nisar said there was a need to review the process of issuing visas to Chinese nationals coming to Pakistan and to maintain a databank of Chinese staying in the country, according to a ministry statement.

It said Nisar ordered that the databank, which will be prepared by the national registration authority, should be shared with all security agencies. The statement was issued after Nisar chaired a high level meeting in Islamabad.

The meeting was held to review issuance of visas to Chinese and progress so far on the registration of international non-government organizations.

On the security of Chinese nationals inside the country, Nisar said ensuring the security of foreign nationals is a shared responsibility.

“Where the government makes every effort to provide security to foreigners, the visiting foreign nationals are equally bound to abide by the terms and conditions of their visas and inform local authorities about their movements and activities keeping in view the security requirements, if any,” he said.

He said it was “highly unfortunate” that a misuse of business visa terms contributed to the abduction of the two innocent Chinese.

Nisar said that all Pakistani missions are bound to undertake proper scrutiny of visa application forms and must get all necessary details before exercising their power of issuance of visas to foreign nationals.

A Chinese foreign ministry spokeswoman said on Friday that China would continue to use various channels to gain and verify information about the reported killing of the two Chinese nationals kidnapped in Pakistan last month.

Hua Chunying said the Chinese Embassy in Pakistan had launched immediate emergency procedures and cooperated with the Pakistani side to rescue the two nationals.

However, Hua said the Pakistani side had provided China information that the two nationals were probably dead.

The bold part is mostly certain according to Huaqiu's (Global.cn) local reporter in Pakistan. Besides, there is almost zero chance that NK was there to spread their version of communism, on what visa to get in Pakistan?
