Yes, I think there was only one or maybe two smaller images at the time.

Nice. I was wondering when upward-facing exhausts would start percolating across the Z-20 fleet. (I wince whenever I see a Z-10 without them.)
I wonder exactly how big an advantage upwards exhausts confer? Surely can't have much effect against modern IIR MANPADS?
Likely more along the lines of “any little bit helps”.
Yes but presumably some cost in terms of engine efficiency and/or negative effect on the rotors?
