Hypergryph has been adding some Chinese dialects for Yanese operators in Arknights, representing the region they're from such as Sichuanese, Wuhanese, Suzhounese, Nankinese, Hangzhouhua, Guanzhonghua, Jinannese, Cheng-Yu, and Cantonese. Here are the Cantonese character voices for operaters from Lungmen which is the in-universe stand-in for Hong Kong along with Sichuanese, Suzhounese, and Guanzhonghua for the Sui sisters.

And in other news, Arknights announced some pretty unexpected collaborations with CASC, ANTA, and Destiny 2 during the 4th year anniversary livestream on Bilibili.

As an occasional modder who uses generative AI to produce art assets, the idea of a commercial company replacing professional artists with AI at the current stage of AI is just crazy. AI can generate a crazy amount of intricate details, but it has no idea about the bigger picture. Want five and only five fingers? Sorry what about 7? Want shadows in a picture to come from a consistent source of light? No, the nose and hair will have shadows with sizes and angles that together make no sense. I get away with it because I'm making free mods, but pushing this to paying customers is just disrespectful.

Classic video game sound track well over 20 years ago has an uncanny coincidental title and theme for today.
