I have been of the opinion since the last 2-3 weeks that we need to open a new topic to keep an eye on US policies to contain China economically, financially (lending to other countries), technologically, infrastructure building etc. I want to use this thread for that. We cannot keep a good eye on it through the news threads.

I would also keep an eye on the Indo Pacific Economic Framework (IPEF) that the US trade representative (USTR) and US ministry of commerce are preparing to launch in May 2022. I would also keep an eye on the US-EU Trade and Technology Council of which the second meeting is planned for 15-16 May 2022 in France. I would also keep an eye on the Ministerial Conference of the WTO in the week of 13 June 2022 in Geneva, Zwitserland. And there are surely more initatives, institutions or councils and ganging up of which I have no knowledge off.

The WTO (World Trade Organization) has her headquarters in Switzerland. We are living in a very Western-centric and dominated world in which all ''international'' institutions whether in trade/banking/sport and much more have either their headquarters in Europe or USA. This is why I have been a huge supporter of the creation of AIIB in 2016 in an attempt to create at least a rival to the World Bank but far from sufficient to reduce western hegemonism.

Edit: no, my English is very basic. I now see what you mean.
