I found this article while reading the San Diego Union-Tribune. So I did a Yahoo search to get more sources and I did!!
Well this could be great news. I wonder what sort of military exchanges could they be refering to? Anyone have any ideas? Maybe some "Wargames" in the future? What ever it is I pray it leads to a peaceful co-existance between the two great nations.

BEIJING, Dec. 10(AP) -- Senior American and Chinese defense officials have concluded two days of talks in Beijing on enhancing military cooperation, Chinese media said Saturday.
The official Xinhua News Agency said U.S. Deputy Undersecretary of Defense Richard Lawless and Zhang Bangdong, director of the Foreign Affairs Office of the Chinese Ministry of Defense, discussed military exchange programs set for 2006 and maritime military security in talks that ended Friday.
The U.S. Embassy did not comment on the report.
Rumsfeld held talks with senior Chinese defense officials in Beijing in October.
Xinhua quoted Xiong Guangkai, chief of China's General Staff, as praising the Rumsfeld visits and other contacts between Chinese and American military officers, when he spoke on Friday.
"All of these activities have played an active role in strengthening mutual understanding and closing relations between the sides," Xiong reportedly said.
