There is quite a not of propaganda deployed these days.

I don't think we can draw any conclusions so soon. Probably need to wait a week or more to get a clearer picture of what has actually happened
This news clearly demonstrates that neither Germany nor France are falling for the US war narrative, the Americans take weapons to Ukraine, the French and Germans offer talks, the other NATO countries have to follow the US lead because they depend on it, but France and Germany don't depend, that's a slap in the face to the USA.

Just by having the possibility of extending talks between Russia and Ukraine around the Minsk Protocol, Crimea should at no time enter into discussion, it demonstrates the impartiality of the actors in reaching an outcome by avoiding war, pursuing peace. I'm sure the NATO Secretary General hated this, the US I know he hated it because just today they expelled some diplomats from the Russian embassy in Washington, raising the tension.

Make no mistake, Germany is still a de facto US satellite/vassal state. These occasional moments of insubordination toward the Neocon/Neolib US are very rare and only if there is literally no other practical option left.

The French establishment still believes in the pipe-dream of a union of nations with common "values" while ignoring the fact that the Neocon/Neolib US has become a major security challenge to Europe and the rest of the world.

Just read this on r/sino

So US and NATO spent over 20 years expanding NATO’s border until its right up against Russia. The Russians have given them a written demand and the US have responded with a secret response! What could be in their response that warrant this much mystery? What kind of bargain is America going to ask Russia that is worth over 20 years of effort? I think they’re gonna ask Russia to join them against China. I think they’re gonna dangle the prospect of being let back in the G7, removal of sanctions, access to EU markets and the US, and pushing back NATO’s border back to the 1997 border, certification of the Nordstream pipeline for cooperation against China. I’m taking bets

Well, as I predicted, Putin got nothing, at least from the US! Now, let’s see if he’s successfully driven a wedge between the Anglos and the Euros?

But this demonstrates that there is no complete cohesion within NATO, Olaf as a recent government is demonstrating that it does not want war at the very beginning of his rule, which would be a disaster even for the German industry that depends on Russian gas.
