The right one looks bent /s

Any guess to what th remaining two will be named? Liaoning, Shandong, Haihan are taken. Maybe JiangSu and Guangdong will be reserved for the CV003/004. I can see one of them named ShangHai.
I don’t think Shanghai will be used, my guess is that Beijing and Shanghai will be some how reserved since they two are really symbolic names if not taking Guangdong in account. Anything happens to vessels with those names would be a slap to vulnerable Chinese face.

Since you are from NYC, I will ask whether you think Americans have thicker faces to withstand the sinking of CVN-72 and CVN-73?

I agree with the rest of what you said otherwise, but seriously please don't dump such BS of "particular nation and face saving" into the subject.

Sorry for improper phrase “slap into vulnerable Chinese face”, my original idea was that any failure on those CVs maybe a hurt to people with strong national pride, such a strong tone was not really intended

Just off topic once. I am surprise that some of you here understand what linbei (Minnang/Fujian dialet) means, we use it very commonly in Malaysia and Singapore too.:D
To be honest, I learned the word from a funny Malaysian live fish seller Wang Lei 王雷

Can someone enlighten us non-minan speakers what linbei means. Please write in both English and Chinese. Thanks
