That looks like the new batch ships.

Type 56 need to incorporate the new AR500B maritime surveillance UAH as organic sensor via JSCh
But sofar it is limited by scant mission performance of
a mission load of 70kg, and a maximum endurance of 4h; a control radius of 100km, a maximum level flight speed of 140km/h, a cruising speed of 120km/h, and a service ceiling of 4000m. It can be widely used to perform wide-area surveillance and identification tasks at sea.

I hope they can improve on the load so that it can carry dipping sonar and onboard data link to the ship

AR-500B ship-based unmanned helicopter successfully made its first flight

On November 27, the AR-500B carrier-based unmanned helicopter developed by the AVIC successfully flew for the first time at the Poyang test flight base. The successful development of this model has filled the gap in the field of light and small ship-borne unmanned helicopters in China. AR-500B ship-based unmanned helicopter has a maximum take-off weight of 500kg, a mission load of 70kg, and a maximum endurance of 4h; a control radius of 100km, a maximum level flight speed of 140km/h, a cruising speed of 120km/h, and a service ceiling of 4000m. It can be widely used to perform wide-area surveillance and identification tasks at sea.

In order to adapt to difficult factors such as small parking space of the shipborne and harsh working environment, the high risk of take-off and landing, and the complicated electromagnetic environment, the helicopter design team replaced the original prototype with heavy oil engine and design adaptive modification on the fuel, structure, electrical and flight control system.

In response to the needs of unmanned helicopters at sea, the design team of the Helicopter Institute has carried out the design and development of small electrical landing assistance devices, landing guidance systems and control rules for automatic landing. Specifically against the maritime environment, the "Three Preventions" (anti-humidity, anti-mold, anti-salt spray) environmental test has been carried out, such that the AR-500B ship-based unmanned helicopter could basically adapt to the marine and shipborne environment.

I am excited about this AR-500B It will give type 56 extra pair of eye and ear if they can built small enough radar of dipping sonar Here it is from GT

China's first vessel-borne lightweight helicopter drone makes maiden flight

China's first domestically developed vessel-borne lightweight helicopter drone has recently made its maiden flight, its maker announced. It is designed to conduct maritime monitoring and identification tasks, and is expected to be used on board smaller vessels including corvettes and coast guard ships for missions like patrol and search and rescue, analysts predicted.

Developed by state-owned Aviation Industry Corporation of China (AVIC), the AR-500B vessel-borne unmanned helicopter successfully made its maiden flight at a test facility in Poyang county, East China's Jiangxi Province on November 27, according to a statement released by AVIC China Helicopter Research and Development Institute on Wednesday.

During the test flight, which lasted for about half an hour, an AR-500B ran subjects including takeoff, hovering, maneuvering and landing.

The successful development of the AR-500B made up for China's lack of a type of ship-based lightweight helicopter drone, the statement said.

Compared with larger, heavier vessel-borne helicopter drones, a lightweight one can be flexibly deployed on all kinds of maritime platforms including smaller ones like corvettes or even civilian ships, Wei Dongxu, a Beijing-based military expert, told the Global Times on Thursday.

The AR-500B has a maximum takeoff weight of 500 kilograms, a mission payload of 70 kilograms, a maximum endurance of four hours, an operational radius of 100 kilometers and a ceiling of 4,000 meters. It can fly at 140 kilometers an hour and conduct missions like monitoring a vast maritime surface area and identifying targets, according to its developer.

The helicopter drone will serve as far-reaching eyes for warships, and it can possibly also provide communication relay and guidance functions, Wei said, noting that it can also be deployed to guard the coastline.

The drone not only has military applications, but also can be used for civilian purposes, Wei said, noting that it can also be used in maritime search and rescue operations.

In order to make the helicopter drone capable of operating on a ship, the development team designed a landing assistance device, a landing guidance system and an automatic landing control system. The craft has also been tested in environments with high humidity, high temperature, mould, and salt spray.

The AR-500B opted to use a heavy oil engine and adopted special designs in fuel, structure, electronics and avionics systems to deal with challenges including limited hangar space on ships, extreme working conditions, high risks in takeoff and landing and complicated electromagnetic environments, AVIC said.

, which looks much bigger than the AR-500B, was reportedly spotted on the flight deck of China's Type 075 amphibious assault ship in July. Media speculated that the Type 075 could host this type of helicopter drone.

this little unmanned helicopter has many uses and could in theory be deployed on the Type 054A too

when the threat of enemy submarine is high always warships deploy 24/7 ASW helicopters

when the Z9C lands for refuelling the AR-500B can take off until the Z9C is ready again

I believe there is a side compartment on the Type 054A for exactly this purpose

this helicopter can also be scaled to LHD/LHA use but maybe not full carriers

From near to far: 625 "Bazhong", another 056 shadowed by her, 552 "Guangyuan" and 520 "Hanzhong", probably in an ASW exercise (note the sonar cable towed by 625).

552 is an older batch from 625, but it has been refitted with the flat panel SATCOM (could also be for UAV and aircraft communications), with the location offset to the starboard instead of the center on top of the bridge. Other 056/56A has this refitted on the aft of the ship. The fleet wide refits of this device points to its importance with the PLAN.
